Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic hotel accounting professional to oversee the accounting/reporting functions for a select number of properties within our portfolio. What you will be doing This position is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and sales tax returns Will handle the accounting and multiple financial Account analysis for balance sheet, income, and expense accounts. Provide accounting and finance support to the VP of Accounting. Analyze monthly financial statements Provide support to external auditors during reviews and audits Assist with annual budgets and forecasts The ideal candidate for this position Multi-Site Hotel experience required Ability to read and understand the general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement financial reports Understanding of bank reconciliation and sales tax filing Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to work flexible hours as needed Strong Microsoft Excel application skills and knowledge with complex worksheet development experience Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook Experience with Sage, Peachtree, IntAcct, and Profitsword systems preferred Detail-oriented, organized, relational problem-solving abilities Self-starter with the ability to work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Independent thinker with the ability to apply complex concepts Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Time Off, & More!
