This position is responsible for the safe, comfortable, courteous, and timely transport of patients via prescribed transport vehicles. Core job responsibilities include working with the nursing staff to assist in the patient care related to the transfer and transport of the patient to and from the nursing unit. The role also involves the delivery of equipment and reallocation of transport devices to various areas within the organization. Greeting customers/patients and responding to their needs questions in the main lobby is also part of the job. Ensuring a clean and safe environment by maintaining safety standards and performing cleaning in the main lobby as needed is required. Other duties as required.

Education/experience requirements include a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Preferred knowledge of computer/phone systems and prior experience in a hospital setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to multitask, and work in a high-pressure environment are essential.
