Back of House Team Leader
This is a NEW restaurant that is scheduled to open in mid-September. This is a leadership position that requires at least 2 years of prior restaurant leadership experience. This position requires candidates to be able to work between 24-40 hours per week.
At Chick-fil-A, the Back of House (Kitchen) Team Leader role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Back of House Team Leaders gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food.
Back of House Team Leader Responsibilities
- Lead the Back of House area by setting daily goals, communicating clear expectations, and providing ongoing coaching to drive accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
- Optimize workflow within the Back of House by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, adjusting team positioning based on business volume, and ensuring efficient operations throughout the shift.
- Own the operational standards of the Back of House by maintaining cleanliness, stocking, food safety compliance, and verifying accurate completion of checklists and assigned tasks.
- Coach for quality and consistency by reinforcing proper food preparation, portioning, and service standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience while minimizing waste.
- Develop team members through real-time feedback, recognition, and coaching that builds confidence, improves performance, and supports continuous growth.

Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 years of prior restaurant leadership experience
- Consistent and reliable

- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
