Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) Must-Have: - First Timers Accepted - Weekend Requirement: Every Sunday - Ability to Float within Scope to Meet Facility Needs Description: The X-Ray Tech will work in an acute hospital setting. The facility holds Magnet status and is a Level II Trauma center. The X-Ray Tech will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures. Required procedures include abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine, and abdomen upright. Experience with barium enema and upper GI series is preferred. The tech may also support the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and NICU. Candidates must have experience charting in Epic. No call responsibilities are required for this position. Travelers may need to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities. Candidates are encouraged to explore housing options in the area. Travelers must be willing to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References covering the last three years are required prior to the start of the assignment. This position does not accept local candidates. Possible time-off requests will be evaluated based on individual circumstances. All applicants must comply with the facility's vaccination policies.
