Position Overview
We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our product and design team. The UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences by conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong UX design skills with an understanding of user behavior, business requirements, and modern product development practices, and is comfortable designing for complex, data-intensive investigative and analytics software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly web and/or mobile experiences.
• Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into effective UX solutions.
• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop and maintain information architecture and navigation structures, including for large, unstructured data sets.
• Design intuitive workflows for search, filtering, and data review across large volumes of case or investigative data.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI Designers, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
• Present design concepts and clearly communicate design decisions.
• Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Work with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems, UX standards, and best practices.
• Analyze user feedback and product data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5+ years of professional UX/Product Design experience.
• Strong experience with Figma or comparable design tools.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
• Experience conducting or participating in user research and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UX methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX design projects and problem-solving process.
• Experience designing for complex, data-heavy enterprise applications (dashboards, search interfaces, analytics tools, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise applications or SaaS products.
• Experience with responsive web and mobile design.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience working with analytics, A/B testing, or product metrics.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience designing for legal tech, eDiscovery, digital forensics, cybersecurity, or investigative/compliance software.
• Familiarity with data visualization patterns for large or unstructured data sets.
• Experience designing for government, law enforcement, or highly regulated enterprise users.
• Understanding of complex search/query UX (boolean search, faceted filtering, advanced search builders).

Technical Skills
