Silicon Validation Engineer

The primary responsibility of this position entails executing the silicon validation and characterization of cutting edge high performance highspeed low power CMOS D2D and SERDES silicon interface following industry best practicesBring up validate and characterize highspeed D2D and SERDES in new and existing silicon chipsBench software and hardware integration bench setupDevelop test methods to evaluate performance and calculate operating margins of highspeed serial interfaces across various conditionsCollaborate with design teams to improve testability and define test infrastructure logicAnalyse test results and document findings to provide insights and recommendationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering computer engineering or a related field5 years of experience working with D2D and SERDES platformsKnowledge of highspeed D2D and SERDES architectures eg NRZ PAM4 and protocolsExperience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analysers and BERTsStrong debugging and problem solving skillsExperience with SERDES calibration and understanding of signal integrityFamiliarity with highspeed protocols like UCIe Ethernet and PCIeAbility to write comprehensive test reports and analyse boundary conditions
