Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Coronary and Peripheral Angiography procedures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performing complex cardiovascular interventions within a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to patients undergoing coronary and peripheral angiography procedures.
• Assist physicians during complex cardiac interventions utilizing advanced devices such as Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Rotablator, Diamondback, and temporary pacing.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and diagnostic data throughout procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile technique and proper use of lab equipment, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Document procedural details, patient responses, and equipment usage accurately in medical records.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and education to support recovery and long-term health.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of acute care experience, specifically in cardiac cath labs or cardiovascular services.
• Demonstrate proficiency with coronary and peripheral angiography equipment and procedures.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills in vascular access, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient assessment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, handle procedural complexities, and adapt to varying shift demands.
• Preferred experience with device management and diagnostic imaging technology.
