General Production - 2nd shift

Our Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant in Van Wert County, Ohio creates, cooks, and slices some of the highest quality deli products on the market for brands you know and trust. Cooper Farms is currently seeking 2nd shift General Production team members to join our team in Van Wert.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.50 with the potential of increasing to $18.75 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

Operating and maintaining knowledge of the departmental equipment and operations
Ensuring that all assigned procedures are carried out in an efficient manner in accordance with production/quality/safety guideline
Working with others to ensure all areas are up to standard and reporting any abnormalities.
Accurately completing all required paperwork
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to work in a cool, damp environment
