Job Description
The Paramedic/CVT plays a critical role in mobile cardiac PET/CT stress testing, monitoring ECG rhythms during stress, and providing vital patient care. This position requires frequent direct patient interaction, skilled use of specialized cardiac imaging software and emergency medical tools, and involves dual clinical and administrative reporting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform ECG monitoring during stress testing
- Establish and maintain intravenous access
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure and heart rate
- Assist patients in and out of offices and during transport
- Respond to emergencies with advanced medical tools
- Record and maintain accurate clinical data
- Prepare and maintain specialized cardiac/ECG equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in emergency medical services
- Certification from an accredited paramedic or cardiovascular technician program
