Electronics Technician

Required Skills & Experience
• Associate degree, trade school certification, community college program, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or a related field.\n\t• 3-5 years of experience in electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or repair.\n\t• Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics and engineering documentation.\n\t• Experience troubleshooting electronic systems, control systems, PCB assemblies, or related equipment.\n\t• Experience performing testing, calibration, verification, or diagnostic activities.\n\t• Experience with soldering and electronic assembly processes.\n\t• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions with a high degree of accuracy.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• IPC or J-STD soldering certification.\n\t• Cabinet wiring or control panel wiring experience.\n\t• Nuclear industry experience.\nMilitary experience troubleshooting radar systems, communications systems, or other electronic equipment.

Job Description

Position Summary\nWe are seeking an Electronics Technician to support a legacy control systems product line. This individual will perform assembly, wiring, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and verification activities on electronic and electromechanical assemblies used in safety-related applications. The role requires strict adherence to documented procedures, engineering drawings, schematics, and testing requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\n\t• Assemble electronic and electromechanical subassemblies according to task letters, drawings, and work instructions.\n\t• Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics and engineering documentation.\n\t• Perform wiring, PCB assembly, and soldering activities in accordance with established procedures.\n\t• Complete required documentation and sign-offs throughout the assembly process.\n\t• Conduct inspections and independent verifications of completed work.\n\t• Execute testing procedures using approved test documentation and equipment.\n\t• Troubleshoot electronic components, printed circuit boards, modules, and control systems.\n\t• Utilize electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and electrical measurement tools, to verify system performance.\n\t• Collaborate with team members on large projects, equipment movement activities, and product fulfillment efforts.\n\t• Participate in daily planning meetings and support changing business priorities when required.\n\t• Follow all quality, safety, and procedural requirements.\nCompensation\nExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
