About the Role

Lowery Custom Construction, in partnership with Creative Pools of Greensboro, is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator / Transporter to join our growing team in Madison, NC. You will be responsible for hauling machinery and materials safely to various job sites, as well as operating heavy equipment on-site to support pool installation and custom building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport construction equipment, pool shells, and building materials to multiple job locations across the region.
• Safely load, secure, haul, and unload equipment using heavy haul trailers.
• Operate heavy machinery (excavators, skid steers, track loaders) efficiently and safely on active job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining routine logs and equipment maintenance checks.
• Coordinate with site foremen to ensure timely delivery and proper positioning of equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (Required).
• Experience: Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment and transporting machinery.
• Skill in securing heavy loads using chains, binders, and straps in compliance with safety regulations.
• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
