About the Employer

Farmersville is a small incorporated community with a population of 11900 located between Visalia and Exeter in eastern Tulare County. The community is located about 36 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and about 90 miles from Yosemite which offers some of the states finest mountain and recreational areas. Driving to the west two hours the ocean provides a complete change of major industry in the area is agriculture which includes dairy production citrus grapes cotton corn grain tree fruit and alfalfa hay for beef within the general areas of Farmersville Visalia Exeter and Tulare is quite reasonable and affordable. College of the Sequoias and Porterville College are the two local community colleges. California State University in Fresno and Bakersfield as well as private colleges such as Fresno Pacific Brandman and National offer educational opportunities for graduate and post graduate first school house was built at the southwest corner of the Four Corners. It was a two story building with the classrooms on the first floor and a community room on the second for meetings and dances in 1869. It was torn down and a new school was built at the present day Snowden Elementary site. The teacher aide works under the direction of the teacher and under the supervision of the Center Supervisor assisting in the classroom in instruction planning of classroom activities and serves as a speech model for children.

6.0 hours per day; 180- day work year Freedom Elementary (1) Farmersville Jr. High School (2)-Salary Placement: All newly hired employees will be placed at Step 1 of the applicable salary range in accordance with the current CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.-Funding Notice: This position is funded through grant and/or restricted funds. Continued funding is reviewed periodically and may be subject to change. If fundingis reduced modified or discontinued the District may evaluate staffing needs and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws regulations Boardpolicies collective bargaining agreements and employee status. This position may not be combined with other District positions due to budget constraints.
