About This Role The Travel Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will perform an age-specific plan of care for patients using the nursing process. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in collaboration and patient care coordination. Highlights Pay: $3,046/week Location: Danbury, CT Facility: Northwell Health Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Assess the patient’s physiologic health status. Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures. Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status. Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition. Assess level of pain and pain management. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care. Assess patient’s psychosocial health status. Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations. Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes. Collaborate with other care team members in planning and carrying out treatment regimens. Requirements Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty. Licenses & Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required. BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
