Junior Project Estimator / Assistant Project Manager needed Yonkers, NY

We’re looking for a motivated, organized, and eager-to-learn individual to join our team as a Junior Project Estimator / Assistant Project Manager. No previous estimating experience is required—we’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. We will provide hands‑on training and mentorship. What You’ll Do As a Junior Project Estimator / Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work alongside experienced team members to help estimate projects, coordinate construction activities, and support projects from bidding through completion. Assist with reviewing construction plans and specifications. Perform quantity takeoffs with guidance from senior staff. Request pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Help prepare project estimates and bid proposals. Track subcontractor quotes and organize bid documents. Assist with project setup and administrative tasks. Help prepare purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders. Track project schedules, budgets, and documentation. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and field personnel. Maintain organized project files and assist with reporting. Visit job sites as needed to gain field experience. Perform other duties that support the estimating and project management teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus. Little to no construction experience required but interest in learning. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to learn new software and construction processes. Positive attitude, dependable, and eager to grow professionally.
