About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Tax to join their team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the company's tax operations, processes, and compliance are efficient and aligned with business strategies. The successful candidate will have end-to-end responsibility for all tax-related matters, including advising senior leadership on key business initiatives, supporting business growth with innovative tax solutions, and maintaining a deep understanding of the business's needs. The VP Tax will also be responsible for defining the department's priorities, monitoring global tax developments, and ensuring the company complies with all local tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years' experience in tax roles, a Master's degree or specialized diploma in tax, and a proven track record of leading large, high-performing teams. Experience in a similar organizational structure and stakeholder management is essential. The role requires a leader with critical capabilities in driving results, building relationships, and leading change, as well as personal characteristics such as impeccable integrity, open-mindedness, excellent communication skills, and ego maturity. The VP Tax will be a visible leader, a trusted partner to business leaders, and will be accountable for addressing current and future business needs.
