Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a travel assignment in Kansas City, MO. This role will play a critical part in a high-acuity environment, providing exceptional care to patients within a Level 1 Trauma Facility.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide high-quality nursing care based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
• Perform procedures including debridement, dressing changes, chest tube insertions, and maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Uphold the mission and values of the unit, ensuring respectful and courteous interactions with patients.
• Utilize equipment and document patient information accurately employing Meditech.

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Active BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required; ABLS preferred.
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm recognition and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience in ICU level care; burn experience preferred.
• Training in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) essential.
