Job Requirements Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing For Breast Center positions, Certified Breast Care Nurse (ONCC) is required within one year of hire Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Registered Nurse Current Ohio licensure Knowledge of the specialty or population served Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team 1-2 years experience in Nursing Job Overview This position provides nursing services, either directly or indirectly, to participants in a specific program, specialty department, or practice. The RN performs initial assessments, regular re-assessments, and ongoing care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team focused on prevention, early detection, and management of acute and chronic illness. Job Responsibilities Plan care for participants and family based on assessment, standards of care, and optimal outcomes; implement and update care plans with short- and long-term goals. Perform technical skills according to hospital policies and accepted standards; prioritize workload based on participant needs; document interventions and outcomes; utilize critical thinking in receiving and executing physician orders. Evaluate the plan of care for optimal patient outcomes; document participant and family responses; collaborate with health care team members to revise plans; supervise delegated care; demonstrate organizational responsibilities and continuous improvement. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments emphasizing health promotion, prevention, and early detection; communicate assessment findings to providers; incorporate teaching and counseling.
