We're seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead registration and patient access teams within a fast-paced hospital environment.In this role, you will oversee daily Patient Access operations, support Emergency Department registration activities, coach and develop team members, monitor performance metrics, and partner closely with hospital leadership to ensure an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients enter the facility.What You'll Do:Lead and support Patient Access associates across registration, admissions, and patient intake functions.Monitor daily operations to ensure timely, accurate patient registration and insurance verification.Manage staffing schedules and productivity to meet operational goals and patient volume demands.Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and departmental performance objectives.Analyze operational and quality metrics and implement improvement initiatives.Partner with hospital leadership to drive patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue cycle performance.Maintain knowledge of payer, insurance, and regulatory requirements impacting Patient Access operations.Conduct performance reviews, deliver feedback, and support employee engagement initiatives.Participate in an on-call supervisor rotation to support hospital operations as needed.What We're Looking For:Required QualificationsExperience leading or supervising teams in Patient Access, Registration, Admissions, Emergency Department Registration, or related hospital operations.Experience within a hospital, health system, or acute care environment.Knowledge of revenue cycle processes including registration, eligibility verification, insurance benefits, authorizations, and patient financial clearance.Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Preferred QualificationsPrevious Patient Access Supervisor, Registration Supervisor, Admitting Supervisor, or Revenue Cycle leadership experience.Experience managing quality assurance programs and operational performance metrics.Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.Why Join R1?Lead a critical patient-facing healthcare team.Make a direct impact on patient experience and hospital operations.Partner with healthcare leaders to drive operational excellence.Career growth opportunities with an industry leader in revenue cycle management.Competitive compensation and benefits package.HASHTAGS: #PatientAccess #PatientAccessSupervisor #HealthcareLeadership #RevenueCycle #RevenueCycleManagement #HospitalJobs #HealthcareCareers #HealthcareHiring #NowHiring #HospitalOperationsFor this US-based position, the base pay range is $55,000.00 - $72,717.75 per year .
