MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in line with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care. Additionally, the Registered Nurse maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and effectively delegates patient care priorities based on the team's education and experience. Direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care are also key components of this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care by employing the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in care planning.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continued education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately among the healthcare team.
• Provide direction and supervision to nursing and support staff during patient care.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts a week with six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Arizona nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
