Customer Service Greeter

IndyHumane

The customer service greeter at IndyHumane assists our customer service team in providing a positive and friendly environment for all guests.

Greeters welcome guests into our adoption lobby, give basic information about the adoption process, answer basic questions, and more.

A highlight for greeters is wishing all adopted animals and their families well in their journey. They also get to say good bye and welcome back to our dogs who leave for a Dog Day Out.

This role does not handle animals directly, but has a significant impact on the mission of indyhumane.

To be successful in this role, volunteers should

be able to listen to and answer questions
be kind and personable
