Job Title: Meat Cutter / Butcher

Location: San Juan, TX

**Pay: **$14.00+ per hour

**Schedule: **Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Some weekends and overtime required

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an **Experienced Meat Cutter **to join a busy restaurant/food production facility in San Juan, TX. This position is responsible for cutting, trimming, and portioning meat products using commercial equipment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has RECENT experience

working in a meat market, butcher shop, grocery store, or food production environment and can safely operate a band saw and other meat processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and portion meat products according to production specifications
• Safely operate a band saw and other meat processing equipment
• Inspect meat products for quality, freshness, and consistency
• Maintain accurate portion sizes and minimize product waste
• Prepare products for production
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and tools throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, GMP, and HACCP guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory as needed
• Support other production and Kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

• **Previous RECENT

  experience as a Meat Cutter, Butcher, Meat Processor, or Meat Market Associate required**

• Experience safely operating a band saw is required

• Knowledge of proper meat cutting techniques and knife safety

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift meat and other materials up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment

• Reliable, dependable, and committed to workplace safety
