Role Summary Family Law Attorney – Columbia, MO. Build a meaningful career in family law. Stange Law Firm, PC seeks a motivated, dynamic attorney to join our team in Columbia, Missouri. Whether experienced in family law or other litigation, this role offers significant courtroom exposure and hands‑on responsibility. Key duties include managing cases, advocating in court, conducting hearings and trials, negotiating settlements, and assisting families with divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, guardianship, estate planning, and related matters. Location: Columbia, Missouri; serves clients throughout Mid‑Missouri (Callaway, Boone, Cole, Cooper, Audrain counties, and surrounding region). Responsibilities Manage family law matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, and legal correspondence. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties. Conduct legal research and analysis. Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trial. Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and trials. Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients. Maintain organized and accurate case files. Ensure all work product is completed accurately and timely. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) required. Licensed to practice law in Missouri. Strong communication and advocacy skills. Ability to manage cases effectively and professionally. Family law experience preferred, but not required. Senior Associate opportunities available for attorneys with five or more years of litigation experience. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation ($90,000–$120,000+ based on experience).
