Job Description

Shriners Children's Galveston has a PRN Driver position available! Must be bilingual (Spanish/English.)

The Driver coordinates and transports patients, staff and families to various destinations in a safe and professional manner.


Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and transports patients and families to various destinations in a safe and professional manner.
• Patients are returned without undue delay.
• Maintains vehicles preventive maintenance logs.
• Keeps vehicles clean and serviced.
• Maintains registration of all vehicles and schedules repairs
• Ensures vehicles are inspected/serviced on a quarterly basis.
• Maintains vehicles State Inspection Certificates.

Required Qualifications:

• State of Texas driver license
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• BLS certification within 30 days

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
