Director of People & Operations

Role Description

Plie Promotions is a fast-growing custom apparel and merchandise company serving dance studios, cheer gyms, and athletes nationwide.

As we continue scaling, we are looking for a people-first operational leader who thrives on developing teams, improving communication, building accountability, and helping a growing company run more smoothly. This role works alongside our existing production and operations leadership team and will focus heavily on team management, employee development, communication flow, and organizational growth.

Team Leadership & Accountability

• Coach and support team members across departments
• Help create a positive, accountable workplace culture
• Lead regular check-ins and improve communication flow
• Develop KPI's for each members role, holding them accountable to their goals
• Help employees stay organized, focused, and successful
• Address bottlenecks, team friction, and operational inefficiencies early

Operations Support

• Partner with leadership to improve systems and workflows
• Learn and develop systems to help Plie Promotions to new heights
• Help prioritize projects and keep teams aligned
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees
• Create and improve SOPs and internal processes
• Help leadership identify growth opportunities and operational gaps
• Coordinate communication in event planning

Company Growth

• Act as a key support partner to ownership
• Help remove operational burdens from leadership
• Improve cross-department collaboration
• Assist with company initiatives, hiring, and team development
• Help build a scalable organization as the company grows
• Attend various trade shows throughout the year, representing the company in a professional manner.
