Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)

Location: Carlinville, IL
Duration: 12 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $1,900/week – $2,200/week
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Carlinville, IL. The RN will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.

• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

• Respond to patient emergencies and condition changes.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN License (or Compact RN License if applicable).

• Current BLS Certification.

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience.

• Acute care hospital experience preferred.

• Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR is a plus.
