Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients, adhering to established standards of care and the nursing process.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and collaborate with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and utilize strategies to promote health and maintain a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress towards achieving outcomes.
• Identify patient outcomes and work with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Deliver health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years recent experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
