Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, from 08/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, with recertification every two years. Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), with initial certification within six months of employment and recertification every two years. Experience in operating room nursing preferred, with a minimum of 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CNOR, PANAC, or AAOPU for Outpatient are desirable.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves frequent physical activity including bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing patients in wheelchairs, gurneys, and beds. Protective measures should be used during procedures involving potential exposure to blood and body fluids. The position requires attentiveness to age-specific patient needs across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional environment, participating in performance improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols. The employee may be assigned to PACU, outpatient endoscopy, and central service areas as needed, and will share call duties.
