Job Overview Connected Health Care is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13‑week contract in Sturgis, South Dakota. This role is a travel assignment with a pay rate up to $1,720 per week, subject to experience. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans. Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT. Document patient treatment and responses accurately. Ensure safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessions. Collaborate with the rehab team to achieve positive outcomes. Education & Certification Requirements Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
