Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med-Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years acute care experience.

Details

• Acute Care/Observation Med-Surg Adult unit caring for Ortho surgery, Hybrid Cath Lab, and acute/chronic illness patients
• 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotation
• Call rotation required, with one call shift per 2-week period taken in place of guaranteed hours when requested due to staffing needs
• Telemetry Med/Surg and Observation patient populations

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience required
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Flu Vaccine required Oct 1 through Apr 1 with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process for acute and critical disease states
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
