Essential Functions:
- Schedule appointments for the clinic patients.
- Check-in patients, update demographic, insurance, or payment information.
- Answer phone calls, refer to the proper person or take messages as necessary.
- Prepare charts for new patients and obtain necessary demographic and payment information.
- Prepare referrals and send/fax to appropriate office.
- Complete insurance verification for patients at each appointment.
- Receive - post insurance and payments, prepare and submit daily deposits.
- There are functions within the position, while not consider essential, are a part of the functions of the position that might be required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Education and/or experience as a receptionist or office assistant, preferred.
- Proficient using computer and other office equipment, including Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- The ability to provide quality customer service.
