Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The role focuses on preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and serving as the scrub person during procedures to support patient safety and surgical team efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Current National Certified Surgical Technologist certification through NBSTSA OR certification as Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• BCLS (BLS) certification.
• Recent operating room experience. Experience in ortho trauma, neuro, spine, gynecology, and urology required.
• Ability to operate sterilizers, adjust operating tables and accessory devices, and handle instruments.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with personnel, physicians, and patients.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting as required in the OR environment.
• Ability to float to other locations if required by the client.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience as a certified OR surgical technologist.
• Experience with orthopedic trauma, neuro, spine, gynecology, and urology procedures in a hospital operating room.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-17:30.
• On-call requirement: On call is required during assigned 4x10 hour days Monday through Friday, 07:00-17:30.
• Interview availability: Please list interview days/times in the comment section.
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during assignment; candidates with more than 7 days will be rejected.
