Senior Manufacturing EngineerGreat opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work for a global manufacturing technology leader located in Phoenix, AZ.Our client is a high-tech facilities manufacturer looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for fabrication and assembly processes, continuous improvement, tooling, and manufacturing and plant layouts.Responsibilities:• Manage process development projects, ensuring completion from start to finish• Support and/or lead product launch activities• Review engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services• Define how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency• Develop quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs• Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production• Confer with clients regarding product specifications, vendors regarding purchases, management regarding manufacturing capabilities, and staff regarding project status• Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performance• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment• Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished-product and process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes• Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future requirements• Complete design and development projects by training and guiding techniciansQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or relevant experience• At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment required
