Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing perioperative patient care, supporting surgical teams during a variety of procedures, and adhering to strict attendance policies. The position requires a focus on patient safety and efficient surgical support within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan nursing license, at least 2 years of OR experience, BLS (AHA) certification, a skills checklist completed within the past year for RN specialties, and submission of LARA and Nursys licenses.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endovascular procedures, Urogynecological (URGO), and Obstetrics (OB).
• Additional Information: McLaren's surgical services cover a broad spectrum of procedures across various specialties, including elective, critical, and life-saving surgeries. The position includes a one-weeknight call rotation from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. weekly and one rotating weekend of on-call each month from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., or a weekend shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A strict 3-strike attendance policy applies, effective from 6/1/2024. Full-time employees of the facility are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment.
