Primavera Suite Expert (P6)

Primvera Cloud Scheduler/Project Controls Consultant

Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field.

7+ years of experience in Project Controls and Scheduling.

5+ years of hands-on Primavera P6 experience.

Experience supporting Primavera implementations, migrations, or enterprise deployments.

Experience working within utility, transmission, energy, infrastructure, EPC, or large capital project environments.

Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and PMO governance.

Advanced schedule analysis and reporting capabilities.

Ability to interface with leadership and executive stakeholders.

Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA three days per week.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Transmission, utility, or power generation project experience.

Primavera Cloud implementation experience.

Experience supporting PMO Centers of Excellence.

Knowledge of transmission, substation, and grid modernization projects.

Experience creating portfolio-level schedule reporting and analytics.

Experience working within highly regulated environments.

Job Description: One of our largest clients in the Richmond, VA area is seeking a highly experienced Primavera Cloud Scheduler/Project Controls Consultant to support a major transformation initiative within the Transmission PMO Center of Excellence (COE).

The PMO COE was recently established to improve project execution, standardize project delivery practices, reduce schedule and execution risk, and build scalable processes capable of supporting client's growing capital portfolio.

This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for the organization's Primavera implementation, helping define scheduling standards, improve schedule quality, establish governance processes, and support the organization's transition from milestone-based scheduling to a fully integrated, data-driven project controls environment.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud, utility and capital project scheduling, Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, schedule governance, and project controls best practices.
