Location: Carmel, IN

Pay Rate: $21.50-$23.05 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

Why This Role Matters

As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive accurate and timely diagnostic testing. This busy physician office setting performs a high volume of fasting lab collections each morning, making efficiency, attention to detail, and excellent patient care essential to success.

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens from patients using established venipuncture and capillary collection procedures
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing while ensuring quality and accuracy standards are met
• Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper specimen labeling procedures are followed
• Provide exceptional patient service while explaining collection procedures and helping patients feel comfortable
• Maintain required records, documentation, and confidentiality of patient information
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing as needed
• Support daily operations in a fast-paced environment with an average of 40-50 patient collections per day
• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong specimen processing experience preferred
• Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume setting
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to provide coverage at multiple locations when needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
