Actuarial Analyst — Specialty Insurance & Reinsurance Greenwich, CT or Boston, MA Entry Level Are you an early-career actuary looking to build broad technical skills in a specialty insurance environment? We\'re placing a talented Actuarial Analyst with a respected specialty carrier — a role that comes with real exam support, experienced mentors, and exposure across pricing, reserving, capital, and risk. The Role Support actuarial modeling across pricing, reserving, capital, and risk management Build and maintain rating models and assumptions Produce reports and stakeholder-ready analysis for finance, underwriting, and leadership Collaborate across underwriting, finance, risk, and data functions Study toward CAS/SOA qualifications with employer support and structured mentoring What You Bring Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent quantitative field Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Python, R, SQL, or Power BI is a bonus Strong analytical instincts and clear communication skills Interest in insurance, risk, and financial markets Pre-exam candidates welcome — study support is provided Why This Role Broad practice area exposure — pricing, reserving, capital, and risk in one seat Structured study support and exam time off for CAS / SOA sittings Mentorship from senior actuarial professionals in specialty P&C Two location options — Greenwich, CT (preferred) or Boston, MA #J-18808-Ljbffr
