Warehouse Associate 
Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm 
$20/hr
Temp to hire
Rochester Hills, MI

Job Duties

• Assemble and fill customer and branch orders for shipment.
• Load and unload company and common carrier vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment via UPS and LTL carriers.
• Process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), shipping labels, and customer-specific shipping instructions.
• Verify order accuracy by checking quantities, descriptions, and shipment contents against invoices and packing documentation.
• Pack and organize orders onto shelves or designated staging areas according to delivery routes.
• Operate warehouse scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for order picking, inventory tracking, and material put-away.
• Assist with receiving and stocking materials after delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Support other warehouse personnel and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including wearing required work boots at all times.
• Employees in this role are not permitted to perform any driving responsibilities for the duration of the assignment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical products preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attendance and reliability record required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to support customer satisfaction.
• Basic math skills required to accurately complete inventory counts, order verification, and shipping tasks.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle sit down and stand up forklift
• Experience using handheld scanners or Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.
• Must comply with all warehouse safety procedures and policies.
