FULL TIME Medical Receptionist (MAC) Primary Care --Westbank

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist ( Medical Administrative Coordinator) to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work as a team player and provide personalized service-oriented assistance for our patients while demonstrating strong clerical and front end skills.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and ensure they feel welcome
• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner.
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff.
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Keep the reception and waiting areas clean and neat.
• Willing to learn and perform vital signs.

​ Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent or above
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Personable (for meeting/greeting patients/customers)
• Computer literacy (PC)
• Phone etiquette - handle heavy volume multi-line
• Filing - alphabetically and numerically
• Set priorities/follow directions
• Adjust to various demands
• Operate business equipment i.e. fax, photocopy, calculator, data card. Cashiering activity
• Medical terminology Medical office experience is a plus
• Able to operate Electronic medical records
