2026-2027 Early Education Special Education Teacher (TK-SDC) Mild/Moderate Salary Range: $72,943-$137,945 annually Length of Appointment: 2026-2027 School Year Calendar: Full Time / Full Year What We Offer SFUSD offers a competitive salary of $72,943-$137,945 annually commensurate with experience in a similar position. Minimum Qualifications All teachers must hold or be pursuing a valid California teaching credential and an English Learner or Bilingual Authorization. Qualifications Knowledge of San Francisco’s public schools and a passion for SFUSD’s commitment to instructional leadership. Strong analytics and systems thinking to interpret data and inform goals and strategy. Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and roles within a complex organization. Proven record of effectively planning, organizing and using resources to take action and achieve goals. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Flexible, “can do” work ethic with focus on solutions. Excellent data analysis skills and experience synthesizing data to drive action steps. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with senior district staff and peers. Effective written and verbal communication to articulate complex processes. Ability to define and implement effective HR business practices. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and GSuite.
