Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN Setting: Acute care hospital / teaching hospital environment Location: Spokane, Washington Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 4x12 schedule Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/05/2026 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,380 Orientation: 12 hours Schedule Notes: Some weekend shifts required; may float to Mother/Baby or other functional areas as needed Location Highlights: Spokane offers a welcoming Inland Northwest setting with access to parks, trails, local dining, scenic riverfront views, and year-round outdoor recreation Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at submission Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Experience with high-risk Labor & Delivery, antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, inductions, and maternal emergencies Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP Epic charting experience required Ability to work in a patient-ratio driven environment and adapt to unit needs Must be comfortable floating between units within the facility as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond quickly to changes in condition Support high-risk deliveries, including VBAC/TOLAC, inductions, augmentations, and maternal emergencies Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and related obstetric procedures Manage medications and therapies such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and anticoagulation as ordered Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote excellent outcomes for patients and newborns Document care accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery experience Apply now to join this travel Registered Nurse opportunity in Spokane, Washington, and bring your Labor & Delivery expertise to a leading healthcare team.
