This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12 hours: 7 PM - 7 AM. 36 and 48 hours per week available. Must work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) Unit, which consists of 36 beds. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to elderly patients, focusing on their unique needs and promoting their well-being. You must be flexible and adapt to the scheduling needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to elderly individuals in the ACE and ALC units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities and support overall patient comfort.

Required Experience and Certifications

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
