The position involves providing pediatric speech-language pathology services to patients from neonate to adolescent, including evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. The role requires infant feeding and ICU experience, with an immediate start in June or early July. Job Details Position: Speech Language Pathologist (ACUTE) Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist (ACUTE) Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Masters Degree (or higher) in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university; Pediatric experience; AZ Department of Health Services license (must be obtained prior to start date); AZ Department of public safety fingerprint clearance card (must be obtained prior to start date); Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ASHA certification or in clinical fellowship year (CFY) Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience Additional Information: The candidate must have infant feeding and ICU experience, be able to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, and demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and age-appropriate skills. They will establish treatment plans, maintain documentation, evaluate equipment needs, and assist in monitoring speech pathology students.
