Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2325.60/week –

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week nightshift contract. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside care to emergency department patients ensuring timely and effective treatment.
• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and resources.
• Document patient interactions and treatment details accurately in Meditech or similar EHR systems.
• Follow safety protocols including approved suicide prevention and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Washington State license or Multi-state license as a registered nurse.
• Verify demographic information through Nursys.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate prior emergency room nursing experience and strong team collaboration skills.
• Successfully complete approved 6-hour suicide training.
• Be fully available for scheduled shifts, with pre-approval for requested time off.
