Build the psychologist role that fits your expertise
Insight Therapy and Wellness is seeking a Maryland-licensed psychologist who wants meaningful clinical work without having to build the operational infrastructure alone. The position can center on psychological testing, therapy, doctoral supervision, program development, or a thoughtfully designed combination. You choose the areas that best match your training and professional goals.
You will join an established, multidisciplinary outpatient practice with a steady referral network, administrative and scheduling support, and opportunities to collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, schools, pediatricians, and community partners.
Why this opportunity stands out
- Design your own schedule and shape your caseload around your specialty interests.
- Build a robust testing practice with support for referrals, scheduling, insurance processes, and patient communication.
- Choose the populations and evaluation types you are qualified and interested to serve.
- Add therapy services virtually or in person if desired; therapy is not required.
- Provide separately compensated doctoral supervision, consultation, program development, or clinical leadership opportunities.
- Work within a collaborative, Joint Commission-accredited outpatient mental health clinic with more than 50 clinicians.
Primary responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and/or adults based on your scope of competence and preferred population.
- Select, administer, score, interpret, and integrate appropriate assessment measures.
- Produce clear, timely, high-quality reports with diagnostic formulation, practical recommendations, and treatment guidance.
- Provide feedback sessions that help patients and families understand findings and next steps.
- Collaborate with internal providers and, with proper authorization, outside referral sources such as schools, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain timely documentation and meet applicable ethical, licensing, payer, and organizational standards.
- Supervise Doctoral students (if interested)
