Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Manage and coordinate patient care, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices. Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Prepare and administer medications as prescribed. Assist with various medical procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Prior experience in an ICU setting is preferred but not mandatory for first-time travelers. Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Must have a vehicle for transportation between facilities as required. Position Details Floating between units may be required based on skill sets. This position requires weekend work, with at least every other weekend scheduled. Expected ratios are either 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient acuity. No block schedules are offered. Charting is done using Epic. Additional Information This is a night shift position, with three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Parking at the facility is free of charge.
