Sit-Down Forklift OperatorLocation: Baytown, TX.Pay: $16.50 per hour.Schedule: Rotating 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shifts, with monthly rotation. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and confident Sit Down Forklift Operator for a fast paced warehouse facility in Baytown. This position requires strong attention to safety and quality. Candidates must be able to move materials carefully and efficiently without damaging products, pallets, equipment, or the facility.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a sit down forklift in a busy warehouse environment.Load, unload, move, and stage pallets and materials.Carefully handle products to prevent breaking, tearing, or other damage.Inspect loads and confirm materials are secure before transporting them.Complete daily forklift safety inspections.Follow all safety, quality-control, and operating procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Support additional warehouse duties as needed.QualificationsPrevious sit-down forklift experience is required.Confident operating a forklift in a fast paced environment.Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.Proven ability to handle products without causing damage.Comfortable working in a non climate-controlled facility.Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.Available for rotating 7:00 AM 7:00 PM shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.This is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift operator who takes pride in working safely, maintaining quality, and getting the job done correctly.
