Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,923 to $3,055 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12). Work setting: inpatient hospital environment.

- Credentialing and experience: Bi-weekly orientations; Epic experience within the last 2 years required; RRT license required; NRP required upon submission; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; 1 year minimum experience; teaching hospital experience required Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for adult ICU, adult ED, PICU, and NICU Level III patients as assigned
- Manage ventilator support, non-invasive ventilation, airway clearance, and weaning per physician orders
- Perform ABG collection, analysis, and interpretation; adjust therapies as indicated
- Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, airway clearance techniques) and monitor patient response
- Document care and patient status in the electronic health record (Epic); participate in rounds and care planning
- Respond to respiratory emergencies; collaborate with physicians and nursing teams; ensure equipment safety and proper maintenance
- Schedule and staffing may require weekends as needed; flexibility in schedule is essential Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT); CRT not accepted; NBRC verification required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NRP required upon submission); NBRC verification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RT experience; prior travel experience preferred; teaching hospital experience required; Epic experience within the past 2 years
- Education: Not specified in the notes
