Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists with expertise in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED) environments. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients in critical and acute settings.
Location: North Richland Hills, TX
Unit Type: Respiratory Care
Number of Beds: Varies
Staffing: 20 staff members comprising:
- Day Shift: 1 charge, 1-2 Respiratory Therapists (RTs)
- Night Shift: 1 charge, 1-2 RTs
Patient Ratios: Varies based on patient count
Equipment Used: Avea, V60, Airvo, Radiometer ABL90
EMR System: Meditech
Essential Qualifications:
- ICU and ED experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine and specialized respiratory care to patients.
Working Conditions:
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
- Weekends and On-Call: Every other weekend, no on-call duty
