Part-Time Advanced Technician (SGA Office)

Compensation Range $14.00 - $14.92 Hiring Salary Range $14.00 to $14.92 depending on qualifications. Position Summary n Job Summary Provide assistance to the campus Student Activity Coordinator(s) Job Duties Implement and conduct a variety of campus activities, both physically on campus and virtually. Set up and break down of stations Tents, tables, chairs, stages, parking areas Electronic equipment including speaker amplifiers, microphones, lighting. Decorating areas for themed events Quickly turn-around areas to accommodate multiple events. Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds of weight Assist with social media pertaining to Student Activities and the Student Government on the Dale Mabry Campus Create and schedule advertisements for activities such as posts & stories. Interact with users through direct messaging. Monitor and report engagement across multiple social media accounts, including (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Microsoft Teams, Etc.) Create flyers and graphics related to campus related activities. Collaborate with the College’s Marketing Department to obtain approved logos and graphics for use in fliers, announcements, and promotional materials. Monitor and assist with inquiries and announcements through the Student Activities Office Email. Schedule announcements Reply to inquiries. Coordinate with the College’s Marketing Department about delivering campus-wide announcements for upcoming major activities or events. Work with students to promote the development and implementation of student activities, both physically on campus and virtually. Communicate with vendors on obtaining quotes and contracts for services. Determine promotional items and quantities to acquire for campus activity giveaways in relation to student need. Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes and approve pre-production proofs following College Marketing policies. Conduct small value transactions for the office including, but not limited to: Office supplies, Activity equipment and approved Student Organization related requests. Work with the College’s Purchasing Department to submit requisitions for purchase for quoted services. Monitor student spaces adjacent to the office including the Student Government Study Lounge and Starbucks Lounge. Maintain the Campus Student Activities Calendar Maintain and distribute a bi-weekly Student Activities Newsletter Create and monitor music playlists for activities in accordance with the College’s music licensing agreements. Other duties as assigned to assist with the campus Student Activity Coordinator(s) Minimum Qualifications Two years of prior-related work experience Closing Date June 12, 2026.
