Job Description - Locum Transplant Hepatology Physician (260000P2) For more than two decades, TGH has been a leader in organ transplantation, performing over 12,000 transplants since inception. The Liver Transplant program is active in clinical research and has several ongoing clinical trials in HCC, NASH, and HCV. This position involves the full scope of both clinical and transplant hepatology as well as teaching and mentoring rotating medical students, residents, and gastroenterology fellows from the University of South Florida (USF). TGH is proud to serve as the primary teaching hospital for the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Through that partnership, USF provides GI fellows and Surgery resident rotations monthly on the Liver Transplant Service. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine. Completion of an accredited residency program. Board certification within the time frame established by the applicable Specialty Medical Staff Department.
